New £11.5m London private members club to feature spa
ISG has commenced work on an £11.5m project to create a luxury private members’ club in two historic Grade II Listed buildings in Devonshire Square in London.
ISG will redevelop an 18th century former East India Company warehouse and adjacent residential building to a 58,000 sq ft (5,388sq m), full-service luxury lifestyle club for private members. SUSD is developer and architect for the project with Brian Clivaz, and interiors are by March & White.
The 68-bedroom club will include a spa and gym, along with a club lounge, bar areas, library, screening room brasserie garden room and dining facilities. Details of the spa are still being finalised.
A new glazed bridge will link the two buildings, and ISG will build a winter garden extension to the rear of the six-storey townhouse. The club will feature hardwood parquet flooring, stone, marble and hand-painted Italian tiles.
