New studio for Bury St. Edmunds Leisure Centre

Bury St. Edmunds Leisure Centre in Suffolk is to open a new group exercise studio in the New Year.
The £100,000 project is being carried out by Parkholme Construction, and is due to be finished on 5 December for a January launch.
The 145sq m (1,560sq ft) air-conditioned studio will be used for indoor cycling - using Aerobike V900 machines - and the Body Attack workout among other group exercise activities. It will also be available for hire for clubs, meetings, training and conferencing.
Richard Savoy, assistant manager of the centre, said: “The success of our exercise timetable has meant that we have needed an additional studio for some time in order to cater for the demand. Our customers will now be rewarded for their patience and the additional space will now improve the overall group exercise experience they receive.”
The centre is run by Abbeycroft Leisure in partnership with St. Edmundsbury Borough Council.
