New sports facilities for North Lanarkshire

A new 3G sports pitch and community pavilion is to be provided for the residents in Croy, following a £1m scheme led by North Lanarkshire Council (NLC).
In addition to council funding, sportscotland and Aggregate Industries have contributed to the development as part of efforts to rejuvenate the village. NLC chair of learning and leisure services Jim Logue said: "It will be a catalyst bringing together the range of aspirations around developing sport and physical activity in Croy village, and surrounding areas."
