New female-only gym for Southall facility

Ealing Council has announced the opening of a new £150,000 female-only fitness facility at Southall Sports Centre, west London.
Female members of the facility can now benefit from a range of weekly exercise classes and programmes, while the Muslim Women's Sports Foundation will also deliver sessions. Ealing Council leader Julian Bell said: "This new facility is a great opportunity for women who may not be comfortable using a mixed gender gym."
The London Marathon Trust provided £75,000 towards the scheme, which was matched by the local authority.
