New Jersey Sports City

Environmental design consultancy Exline Design Services has recently completed a two-month assessment commissioned by the International Speedway Corporation in New Jersey, USA.
The concept, known as Sports City, aims to enhance existing facilities at the Meadowlands Sports Complex, which features the Continental Airlines Arena, the Meadowlands Racetrack and the Giants Stadium.
Sports City will feature a sports-themed urban centre, combining the existing world class facilities with a hotel convention centre, specialist retail outlets and themed restaurants in a multi-levelled megaplex.
The development, which would be run in a four-phased programme, would be anchored by a new state of the art motorsports facility known as the Garden State International Speedway. The venue would be owned and operated by the the ISC, which currently owns or operates 12 speedway venues across the US. Details: 001 949 837 5821
