The Natural History Museum (NHM) in London has launched the second phase of its Ancient Human Occupation of Britain (AHOB) project.
The scheme aims to assemble a calendar of human presence and absence in Britain during the Pleistocene (1.8 million to 12,000 years ago).
During phase two, work will continue on the collation of data on the earliest human colonisations of Britain. More comparative studies in continental Europe will also be carried out. Details: www.nhm.co.uk
