LCC to consult on Lotherton Hall plans
Leeds City Council (LCC) is to invite members of the public to comment on its plans for a series of improvements to Lotherton Hall and its surrounding estate.
The council is proposing to extend the opening hours of the property; upgrade the gardens; double the amount of the estate to be opened to the public; and improve access. A public consultation is to take place until the end of July, with drop-in events to take place at Lotherton Hall. The estate's website and council website will also carry the information.
LCC executive member for leisure Adam Ogilvie said: "We have been looking at ways of making Lotherton Hall a more rounded visitor attraction to appeal to visitors who will be keen to see everything it has to offer."
