The first Hilton Fitness by Precor facility on the Balearic island of Majorca has opened in the Hilton Sa Torre.
The hotel, Hilton’s sixth in Spain, is built around a 14th-century tower and ‘finca’ (country property). The restoration project has preserved the traditional exterior while adding a modern interior.
This includes the new Precor-supplied health club, where equipment includes Experience CV stations with personal screens and Cardio Theater and Precor Icarian Strength kit. There is also a large free weights and stretching area.
The spa offers an indoor pool with water jets and a hydrotherapy circuit, a steam room, sauna, aquadom, ice fountain and sensation shower. Guests can also make use of two outdoor pools, two tennis courts and a full-size football pitch.
“When it comes to our hotels, a high quality leisure offering is key”, says Keith Burnet, Hilton’s VP of fitness and spa.
Tracy Collier, hospitality manager for Precor, adds: “The mixture of state-of-the-art equipment with rustic architecture creates an interesting space. We’re proud to be part of this stunning development.”
