Finesse completes Hatfield Swim Centre refurbishment

The Finesse Leisure Partnership has recently completed a £750,000 refurbishment of Hatfield Swim Centre.
Funded by Welwyn Hatfield Council, with a £20,000 grant from the Inclusive Fitness Initiative, the project – which was managed by Alliance Leisure – involved creating a 35-station gym and remodelling the spa and changing facilities.
The gym is equipped by Technogym and the spa area, which has its own changing facilities, includes two spa pools, a steamroom and sauna, foot spas, underfloor heating and a seating area.
Membership, which includes use of the nearby Hatfield Leisure Centre (HLC), has grown from 1,000 to 1,400 since the upgrade. HLC is to benefit from its own 80-station gym upgrade this summer.
