Fitness Industry Education (FIE) has added a new Level 2 award in Adapting Gym Instruction for Adolescents from Active IQ.
The course is designed to target children aged 12 to 16 years, the age that sees the steepest decline in the level of physical activity from childhood to adulthood.
“We are focusing on activity and using different aspects of the health club for overall physical fitness and development. We want to make sure the work they are doing is safe, comfortable and most of all enjoyable,” says Michael Betts, director of FIE.
The course is available through online study and is fully accredited with Active IQ and REPs.
