De Vere Hotels & Resorts has announced a £7.5m revamp of Oulton Park Golf Course in Yorkshire.
The 12-month redevelopment will include a new two-storey clubhouse featuring a restaurant, a golf retail outlet, new changing rooms, new golf services such as a bag drop and a golf concierge, as well as an outside seating area overlooking the 18th hole.
An 800ft (244m) Mackenzie-style putting green will also be built adjacent to the clubhouse.
In addition, a new golf academy will include a teaching facility equipped with a computer swing analysis system, a golf club studio and a golf simulator.
The company acquired the 350-acre (142-hectare) property from Leeds City Council last September. Details: www.devere.co.uk
