De Vere begins work on Bournemouth Village Hotel & Leisure Club

De Vere Group has begun work on the construction of a £16m Village Hotel & Leisure Club in Bournemouth.
The property, due to open in December 2005, will boast 116 bedrooms, a bar/restaurant, a café and The Village Pub and a Leisure Club with a 25m swimming pool and a fitness studio.
The company, which currently operates 14 Village Hotels & Leisure Clubs in the UK – the latest opening was on 13 December in Walsall – recently announced it was closing the De Vere Dormy Hotel at Ferndown.
