Celtic Manor wins two V Awards

The Celtic Manor Resort in the Usk Valley, South Wales, has been named Hotel of the Year and its Dylans Health Club was named Health Club of the Year by Newport’s The Voice Magazine.
The V Awards are the brainchild of the local lifestyle magazine and are voted for by readers to recognise “the innovation and creativity of local businesses”.
Joe Phelps, vice president of marketing and strategy at Celtic Manor, said: “We are delighted to receive these accolades, especially as they are voted for by local people who use the resort on a regular basis.”
The hotel has 330 bedrooms as well as two restaurants and a bar. Dylans Health Club – not to be confused with the hotel’s Forum Health Club and Spa – is located in The Lodge at the resort and has a 43-station gym, an aerobics studio and a 20m swimming pool, a sauna and steamroom and a spa bath.
