Resort and spa developer and operator Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts has revealed details of its global expansion plans for 2009.
First to open, in June, will be the Banyan Tree Ras Al Wadi desert resort and spa in the UAE. Located in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, it will offer a dune camp experience with extensive spa facilities.
The all-pool villa resort Banyan Tree Cabo Marques in Acapulco, Mexico, will open later this year. Located on a clifftop overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the resort will boast a Banyan Tree Spa complex. Details: banyantree.com
