Amaya Indian restaurant set to open in Knightsbridge
The Masala World group is to open a new Indian restaurant in London this September.
Situated in Knightsbridge, Amaya will join other established Masala World restaurants including Chutney Mary, Veeraswamy and Masala Zone.
Designed as a cutting-edge, contemporary Indian bar and grill restaurant, Masala will focus on three core Indian grilling methods – the griddle, the barbeque and the tandoor oven – alongside kadai (or Indian food wok) cuisine.
Intended to suit all palates and promote low carbohydrate ‘enjoyment without guilt’ food, Amaya will serve a selection of fragrant light soups and exotic salads alongside grilled seafood, vegetables and speciality biryanis.
The design centrepiece of Amaya will be the restaurant’s open show kitchen, complete with illuminated, granite-covered counters made from thousand layer glass.
