A whole new ball game for Pulse
Ingeniously combining the latest in 5-a-side soccer provision alongside the already established Pulse Fitness suite business model, Pulse has created a state-of-the-art, self sufficient, income generating sports hub solution in the West Midlands.
The dual-use facility in partnership with Wednesbury School, Phoenix Collegiate proudly boasts eight third generation five-a-side pitches, a dedicated 60 x 40m coaching arena, 55 station fitness suite, luxury team and fitness change accommodation, sports cafe bar and interactive dance studio. The unique business model saw Pulse invest £2.7m, design, build, equip and will now totally operate the complex over a 30 year self-funding partnership.
Leuan Moreton, principal at Phoenix Collegiate says: "We are in awe of the commitment and dedication Pulse has extended to us in this public/private partnership. "Never would we have had the resources in place or the ability to deliver such an incredible sporting facility.
"Pulse has surpassed our expectations in creating a modern, accessible, affordable and sustainable sports facility that further develops our links with local businesses and the community; it has done wonders for the profile of the school." Pulse has tracked the project from concept to completion with imagery and accompanying commentary. To view this visit www.pulsefitness.com
