David Lloyd partners with Holmes Investment Properties for new adventure parks

Leisure industry veteran David Lloyd has partnered with Holmes Investment Properties to create David Lloyd’s Adventure Parks, a multi-activity sports concept aimed at the entire family.
The adventure parks will span across three acres of land and will feature a mixture of outdoor and indoor activities, including: zip wires, trampolining and climbing walls. The parks will also include restaurants and soft play areas. Holmes Investment Properties will own the land and will fund the purchase and construction of the parks. David Lloyd will outfit and operate the parks following construction.
David Lloyd, executive chairman and majority shareholder of David Lloyd’s Adventure Parks, said: “I’m thrilled to have the chance to use my experience in the leisure industry and transfer it to this new sector. I’m convinced that our adventure parks will be a great success.” Martine Helme, CEO of Holmes Investment Properties, said: “ We believe that David Lloyd is the most successful sports venue entrepreneur in Europe, and he is now concentrating on building a unique , exciting business that people will flock to.”
The first parks are set to open in 2018, with plans to open all twelve facilities by 2021.
