Cardiff City Football Club has upgraded to a new fully-integrated PC-based retail solution from Retail and Sports Systems.

The new system included an installation of Aures’ Yuno touchscreen electronic point of sale (EPOS) terminals at its stadium superstore and other retail points across the venue.
Aures’ Yuno terminal is a compact, high-performance EPOS solution equipped with Broadwell i3 5010U or Quad-Core Bay Trail J1900 processors.

It features a shock and scratch-proof, multi-touch projected capacitive screen, that is available in both traditional and widescreen formats.
It is designed to be able to withstand fat, crumbs, dirt, splashes, dust and dirt, so can be used in both retail and foodservice settings.

The touchscreen system is simple to use and allows staff members to check stock levels and locate specific items quickly and easily, using onscreen image buttons.
It also features fingerprint recognition so staff can log in using their fingerprints.

Clare Scarth, manager of retail operations, said: “Business in our onsite superstore is fast paced, especially on match days. We needed to move to a higher performing system."
Scarth added: “Our in-store technology has been transformed. We now have a fully integrated system to drive the superstore and our web site. We have full purchase order and stock management system functionality which makes a real difference.”
