The charitable trust, Angusalive, which provides culture, sport and leisure services for

the county of Angus, has partnered with Your Personal Training (YPT) to bring a new PTprovision across seven of its leisure sites in Scotland.

The collaboration will help support the trust’s vision to change lives by inspiring healthy, active and creative lifestyle choices.

The brand new 12-month agreement will see YPT bringing dedicated PT’s to Angusalive’s operation, helping to improve its offering for members, increase customer engagement and support income generation for the charity.

Iain Stevens, senior manager, says: “Over the years we’ve dipped our toe in attempting to bring a PT provision to our community, but it never really landed.

“Existing staff didn’t necessarily want to retrain and we struggled with specialist recruitment; we simply didn’t have an effective model to offer this as well as we could.

“YPT has a proven and tested model that works, so we’re very excited to be partnering with them to provide our members with quality personal training.”

He continues: “We identified the need to have a presence of PT’s at our leisure sites, by looking at what our competitors were offering and what our customers were demanding, and a personalised/goal-orientated approach was something we weren’t bringing to the gym

floor.

“The YPT offer allows the PT provision to be brought in quickly, making uscompetitive in a crowded market. It also provides a ready-made retention tool - if our

customers invest in PT’s working out of our venues, they are less likely to move on, so itticks a lot of boxes for us.”
