About us
Connect is a UK-based technology company redefining how the fitness and wellness industry builds digital products. We provide a smarter, collaborative way for enterprise operators to assemble, extend and scale digital experiences without rebuilding from scratch.

Through a platform-led model combining modular capabilities, enterprise-ready products and a robust integration layer, Connect reduces complexity, delivery risk and duplicated effort across fragmented technology ecosystems.

By working in partnership with operators and suppliers, we enable faster, more predictable delivery while continuously improving outcomes through shared learning. Connect allows organisations to evolve their digital estate with confidence — accelerating innovation while maintaining stability, scalability and long-term value.

Background
Connect launched in February 2026 as a UK-based, independent sister company to LeisureLabs. Created to address fragmentation in fitness and wellness technology, it brings together experienced industry leaders to deliver enterprise-grade digital products and a new, collaborative model for building and scaling technology globally.

Main products and services
Connect provides a platform-led delivery model designed to simplify how digital technology is built, integrated and scaled across the fitness and wellness industry.

At its core, Connect combines modular, reusable capabilities with enterprise-ready products and a robust integration layer. This enables operators to assemble digital solutions using proven building blocks — including mobile app foundations, integrations and intelligence layers — rather than starting from scratch.

Our approach focuses on extending and enhancing existing systems rather than replacing them. Connect integrates across complex, multi-vendor environments, allowing operators to unify fragmented technology stacks while maintaining flexibility and control.

A key part of the offering is a growing portfolio of enterprise-grade products, including AI-powered capabilities such as recommendations platforms that support personalised, data-driven member experiences. These products are designed to be deployed, integrated and continuously improved based on real-world use.

Connect also operates as a collaborative delivery partner. We work closely with operators and technology partners to co-create solutions, applying consistent standards for integration, scalability and performance. Each deployment contributes to a broader system of shared learning, enabling faster, cleaner and more cost-effective delivery over time.

By reducing duplication, improving interoperability and enabling reuse, Connect helps operators lower total cost of ownership, accelerate time to market and minimise long-term technical risk. Ultimately, Connect delivers a more sustainable and scalable way to build digital capability — one where progress compounds across projects, rather than resetting with each new initiative.

Shows attending
Connect will attend key industry events including FIBO, EHFF and Elevate, focusing on relationship-building with enterprise operators and partners.

We will also support LeisureLabs at The Fitness Technology Summit in June, alongside targeted roundtables and networking events designed to build credibility, strengthen partnerships and support pipeline development.
case study: Abbeycroft & South Downs Leisure
Abbeycroft Leisure and South Downs Leisure partnered with Connect to introduce AI-driven personalisation into the member journey, helping members navigate complex activity catalogues and book more confidently.

Both operators run large, multi-site programmes with hundreds of classes and activities. While the breadth of the offer is strong, ensuring members can easily find the right activity — and convert that into a booking — remains a consistent challenge.

LeisureWise, an AI-powered recommendation engine, was implemented to analyse behavioural and booking data and match members to relevant activities in real time. Members complete a short questionnaire, and the platform uses their responses to recommend relevant activities and products.

Early results across both operators show strong impact:
• 1,000+ member journeys completed
• 85%+ booking intent once recommendations are explored
• Up to 30% progression into booking journeys

By connecting members with relevant activities, both operators are increasing engagement across their programmes, improving utilisation of existing sessions, and strengthening progression from exploration into booking.

LeisureWise was implemented within existing systems, allowing both organisations to introduce AI-driven personalisation without replacing their core technology infrastructure.
Plans for the next 12 months
Over the next 12 months, Connect will focus on scaling the impact of its product portfolio while reducing operational complexity for operators.

LeisureWise, our AI-powered recommendation engine, will evolve through improved recommendation relevance, enhanced tracking and stronger feedback loops, enabling operators to better understand and influence the journey from recommendation to booking.

We will also prioritise automation of data and catalogue setup, alongside the introduction of a self-serve admin portal to improve control and visibility.

In parallel, Connect will expand integrations across leading platforms while continuing to enhance digital member experiences across existing ecosystems.
