A protein shake and the UK’s first drinkable flavoured creatine drink with aminos are the newest products from sports nutrition supplier USN.

Formulated to help speed up the recovery process after a workout, ‘Casein Night Time Protein’ is an “ultra-premium” slow release protein shake with the highest grade of micellar casein.

Part of the USN Core Series range, it has been created to help achieve quality lean muscle. Digestive enzyme aminogen is added to the slow release micellar casein, with the aim of improving protein digestion and amino acid assimilation.

To help spare and protect lean mass, Casein Night Time Protein should be taken primarily before bed, or prior to periods where the body is typically subjected to reduced food intake.

Available in vanilla and strawberry flavour, the ingredients used are not sports banned substances.

Meanwhile, ‘Crea-X4’ – a flavoured drinkable creatine and amino combo powder – has been formulated to increase physical performance during short-term high-intensity, repeated exercise bouts when taken at dosages of 3mg or more per day.

Also part of the USN Core Series range, it is available in an orange flavour and contains approximately 34 servings based on one heaped scoop. USN, which recently re-launched, recommends that one serving is taken prior to training, with a second to be taken post training if required.
