Total Gym launches new product line
With over 35 years history and over four million units sold, Total Gym continues to lead the way in functional bodyweight training by releasing three updated machines.
As well as a more contemporary look, the new kit uses improved materials and design to build on the proven success of the Total Gym range and get even more out of each workout. Total Gym GTS now features 22 incline levels, harnessing between one and 62 per cent bodyweight with a new release lever to effortlessly vary resistance.
Total Gym PowerTower retains the motorised incline tower, adjusting to any height to harness between three and 72 per cent bodyweight at the touch of a button. Total Gym Sport is a new addition to the product line, replacing the Total Gym 14000 incline trainer and recommended for use in the home and in commercial facilities.
The rails on all three new machines are now made from aluminium for longevity, lightness and quieter gliding. For additional grip and comfort the handles have been made sleeker and the lateral bars have been rubberised.
The glideboard has been enlarged, with enhanced cushioning, and can now be adjusted to allow the user to sit parallel to the floor at any incline - ensuring all movements are bio-mechanically optimised and ideal for training special populations. The glideboard can also be set horizontally to be used as a bench, giving the option to add free weight exercises to a workout. The squat stand is also larger and has additional height settings. Folding, unfolding and storing the new Total Gym range has been made even easier with simplified mechanism and lighter weight frame.
The Total Gym equipment uses bodyweight to engage every muscle in the body with over 200 different exercises. The increased number of incremental inclines and greater range of potential resistances on the new range makes each exercise even more flexible, meeting the needs of any exerciser.
