PowerBlock Fitness launched the new Flex Urethane range of dumbbells at LIW last month and the U33 set was a popular choice!

The U33 Dumbbell Set comes in two separate stages. Stage 1 has a weight range of 0.5kg-9.5kg per hand. This stage 1 set replaces the need for 15 pairs of traditional fixed-weight dumbbells.

When the Stage 2 kit is added, the U33 set has the equivalent of 25 pairs of dumbbells with the total set of weight plates delivering 0.5kg-15kg per hand.

The versatility of the U33 Dumbbell Set is due to the adder weights within the core handle of each dumbbell. On their own the two adder weights each weigh 0.5kg and the empty handle weights 1.5kg and so even before any of the weight plates are used, you can train in 0.5kg, 1.5kg, 2kg and 2.5kg increments per hand. By either using one, two or none of the adder weights you can train in incremental steps as your training needs change.

Although the U33 Dumbbells can be used without the need for a stand, PowerBlock recommends purchasing the optional U33 stand shown here. It allows the user to lift and lower the dumbbells at the optimal height and angle for safe and effective training. Stands and dumbbells are purchased separately.
