Westin Coolum to open on Australia’s Sunshine Coast

Starwood Hotels & Resorts will open The Westin Coolum Resort & Spa in Australia, in 2021. The 220-bedroom hotel, set on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, will be part of a proposed mixed-use development with retail shops, boutiques and luxury apartments, and will be positioned less than 200 metres from the sea with direct access to the beach.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin will offer six treatment rooms and an array of treatments dedicated to wellbeing. Other wellness offerings include an infinity swimming pool and a WestinWorkout studio, and the brand’s nutrient-rich SuperFoodsRx menus will be available.
