Millwall FC posts half-year revenue growth
Millwall Football Club (MFC) has posted a 10 per cent increase in revenue for the six months ending 31 December 2009, compared with the same period for 2008.
The Coca-Cola League One club saw revenue increase to £3.2m - due mainly to the club's share from a Carling Cup fixture against West Ham United Football Club and an extended FA Cup run. MFC chair John G Beryslon said: "With the football headlines dominated as much by finances as the matches these days it is also pleasing to announce a small reduction in operating losses compared to the same period last year."
Meanwhile, Histon Football Club of the Blue Square Premier has announced that it has parted company with chair Tony Roach and secretary Julie Roach with immediate effect.
