Hilwood Resorts & Hotels has completed a £1.5m revamp of the health and fitness club at the Grand Hotel Jersey.
Hilwood, which acquired the 122-room hotel in 2006, worked with suppliers Life Fitness and Escape Fitness to create the new club which boasts a 15-station CV and resistance area as well as a free weight zone.
Work also included the refurbishment of the existing 15m swimming pool and the introduction of new changing facilities and a members' lounge.
Following the revamp, Hilwood hopes to increase the membership at the club from 50 to 350.
The gym revamp is part of a larger redevelopment of the hotel, which included the introduction of a six-treatment room health spa earlier this year.
