Funding boost for Welsh botanic garden
A new interactive green technology trail is to be developed at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Carmarthenshire.
The Welsh Assembly Government has provided funding towards the creation of the trail, which will feature a range of micro-scale renewable energy generators. A £28,500 grant through the National Science Academy will back the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Sustainable Futures Technology Trail.
Meanwhile, a further £42,000 award will enable the attraction to host an exhibition looking at the role of fungi in the health of people.
