Family-owned hotel operator Khanna Enterprises has acquired the 108-room De Montfort Hotel in Kenilworth from Macdonald Hotels.
The property will be Khanna’s third in the UK and will join properties in Oxford and Nottingham in the fledgling portfolio of medium-sized hotels.
Khanna was advised by Savills during thr deal, which was agreed for a undisclosed sum on 25 November.
Paul Barrasford, director of Savills, said: “Khanna is about to secure a multinational brand under franchise and has begun the redevelopment of the De Montfort site.”
