DC Leisure launches two new Kinetika sites

DC Leisure has launched two new Kinetika gyms in Somerset at the Parish Wharf Leisure Centre in Portishead and the Strode Leisure Centre in Clevedon.
Featuring strength equipment supplied by Technogym and CV kit from Precor, the gyms are the group’s first to include CV equipment with personal entertainment screens.
A total of £440,000 has been invested across the sites.
The refurbishment at Strode Leisure Centre has also seen the addition of a dance studio with sprung floor and the extension of the gym to 1,100sq ft (100sq m), doubling the number of stations from 19 to 38.
Other facilities include a 25m swimming pool and learner pool, a multi-purpose sports hall, a solarium and a crèche.
Nick Moran, area manager for DC Leisure, said: “The new set up at Strode means we have increased the number of aerobics classes on the timetable by more than 30 per cent.” Details: www.dcleisure.co.uk
