Chris Evans buys Welsh country inn

Radio presenter Chris Evans has bought a country inn in Wales from a private owner for around £1m.
The property, the Newbridge Inn, is located on the banks of the River Usk in the village of Tredunnock, Monmouthsire, and combines bed and breakfast accommodation with a gastro pub.
The property will be the third pub in Evans’ portfolio, following his acquisition of two sites in Surrey – the Mulberry Tree in Chiddingfold and the Red lion in Milford.
The freehold deal was brokered by Christie + Co.
