The evolution of workplace wellness (and how gyms can capitalise)

In the UK, one in seven people experience health problems in the workplace, and millions more are affected by anxiety and depression, the most common mental disorders. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the world’s biggest employers, and for good reason: the economic burden of an unwell, unproductive and disengaged workforce is costing 10-15 per cent of global economic output.

Employers are increasingly viewing regular exercise as the antidote to many of these conditions.
