case study: Panobianco: accelerating the future of HVLP fitness in Latin America
Founded in 2012 by André Panobianco, Panobianco has rapidly emerged as one of the fastest-growing fitness chains in Brazil, redefining the High Value, Low Price (HVLP) model across Latin America.

Built on the vision of making fitness more accessible, the brand combines affordable membership pricing with modern facility standards, creating a scalable and highly efficient commercial gym model for mass-market growth.

By the end of 2025, Panobianco had expanded to more than 400 locations across Brazil, with aggressive international growth now underway in Mexico and other Latin American markets. The company expects to reach 600 clubs globally by the end of 2026, with a long-term target of 1,000 locations by 2028.

To support this rapid expansion, Panobianco has continued investing in standardized training environments and large-scale equipment upgrades.

Since 2025, the brand has strengthened its cooperation with Shua Fitness through Brazilian distributor BRW, marking a significant step in the development of its next-generation gym network.

The first SHUA shipment was delivered in October 2025, with approximately 100 Panobianco clubs planned to be equipped with Shua solutions throughout 2026. In parallel, more than 50 existing clubs are currently undergoing renovation and modernisation projects.

The partnership focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient commercial fitness solutions tailored to the operational demands of high-volume gym chains. Shua’s commercial cardio and strength equipment now play an increasingly important role in supporting Panobianco’s rapid rollout strategy across the region.

Panobianco’s momentum has also attracted major industry attention. In late 2025, former Planet Fitness CEO Chris Rondeau joined the company as shareholder and strategic advisor, describing Panobianco’s potential in Latin America as comparable to the early expansion phase of Planet Fitness in the United States.

Further strengthening its expansion capability, the company has established a financing partnership with XP Investimentos, helping franchisees secure funding for gym openings and equipment investment.

With strong financial backing, a scalable HVLP model, and strategic global partnerships, Panobianco is positioning itself as one of the most influential fitness brands in Latin America’s next phase of commercial fitness growth.
