The site was designed by Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel and Partners, one of Italy's most internationally renowned architecture studios, around the human being, inspired by the concepts of eco-sustainability and bio-architecture, and by the principles of health and wellness on the workplace.
The project is part of the Romagna Wellness Valley initiative, promoted by Nerio Alessandri, which aims to create Europe's first wellness district to raise the quality of life and use wellness for economic development in Romagna.
International convention 20° Wellness Congress entitled 'Let's move for a better world' will be taking place during the event to discuss wellness as an opportunity for sustainable socio-economic development.
President Bill Clinton, whose Foundation is dedicated to the fight against childhood obesity, gave the closing speech.
