Technogym launches Arke
Technogym has launched Arke, a new solution that activates the whole body in 360 degree movement.
It optimises core functional movements fundamental in improving everyday activities, such as coordination, stability, balance, flexibility, strength, speed, agility, reaction time, cardiovascular and respiratory capacity. Arke comprises a complete range of easy to use tools including Water 8 Ball, made up of two semi spheres joined together and filled with water – great for core and sport specific work; Pendulum, a pole with weighted ball ideal for power and rotation work; and the Twin Clubs, weighted clubs which can be used separately or together by means of the locking system ideal for power and shoulder rehab.
Accompanying Arke, Technogym offers an education support package including on-site training and visual learning kit with 265 exercises, 40 progressions and 7 pre-made routines providing a perfect framework to launch the product. The range is divided into four categories, each represented by a vibrant colour and bearing the names of the four classical elements: air, earth, water and fire.
Air - for dynamism and reaction time - includes wellness balls, medicine balls and air balls, which can be used for throwing or exercising on stable surfaces. Earth - for stability and proprioception - includes balance dome, kettle blocks, stability disc, balance pad and foam roller for floor and supported exercises.
Water - for agility and balance - includes balls containing water for core stability and rotational exercises, which give a variable and dynamic resistance for optimum exercise. Finally, Fire - For adaptability, power and control - includes Pendulum and Twin Clubs, suitable for warm-up and power training.
The entire range can be stored in a neat and stylish display unit.
