The FirstHealth Center for Health & Fitness in Pinehurst, NC has reported a five point decrease in member attrition over the last year while using the services of Retention Management.

Year to year, FirstHealth achieved a decrease in attrition from 34 percent to 29 per cent and as a result the company is now planning to roll-out Retention Management’s service to its other five centres in the near future.

In addition to retention improvements, FirstHealth has observed a positive impact on overall programme utilisation levels, such as a 60 per cent increase in participation levels in its children’s programmes.

Retention Management currently provides FirstHealth with a comprehensive series of automated member communication services for its Pinehurst location, including personalised supportive emails that are based on each member’s unique attendance patterns, on-going email marketing messages and a new member orientation/education programme, impacting over 5,700 members.

In a separate development, Retention Management has been chosen by UK day spa operator Odyssey to supply communication services to members of its Knebworth, Hertfordshire, club.

The company will be providing Odyssey Knebworth with a range of automated member communication services, including personalised supportive emails and on-going marketing messages, plus a new member integration programme.
