The Saltex trade event in September will see the launch by play equipment company Proludic of its Sports Legacy Zone concept.

It's a 37m x 24m concept, aimed at people aged 9 - 99 and incorporating six areas designed to promote individual technical sporting skills. Included are Dynamic Structures, Cyclogym, Vertical World, Vitality Areas, Suspended World and the Multi Use Games Area.

Dynamic Structures are specifically designed for teenagers and take inspiration from board sports, encouraging users to test their physical performance and create challenges. Cycologym allows users to put their cycling skills to the test over a series of obstacles. Novices can learn skills linked to balance and technique, while more advanced cyclists can attempt to traverse the course in the shortest time possible.

Vertical World involves movements that are both technical and fun on a mixture of climbing panels. The variety of options allow users to vary their experience without actually having to touch the ground. The Vitality Area is for undertaking exercise to either get or stay fit, with users being able to tackle a wide range of activities at their own pace.

Putting emphasis on balance and body control, the Suspended World allows users to cross a section of the zone using only ropes and bars and not touching the ground. Finally, the Multi Use Games Area is a space allowing a wide range of ball games such as basketball and football.
