Roc-It™ to debut in the UK this summer
Fitness company PTE will be bringing the new Roc-It line of interval training equipment from Hoist® to the UK this summer.
Having attracted great interest at the recent IHRSA convention in the USA, Roc-It will be making its debut in Britain at the Results health club chain's fourth site which is due to open in Alton, Hampshire during the summer.
The new 3,000 sq ft boutique-style club will follow the line of its sister sites in Abingdon, Bracknell and Fleet, aiming for around 1,000 members aged between 40–65, who are mainly new to exercise.
Director Paul Green says: "The market we are aiming for has never set foot in a gym before and so we need to provide the right level of support combined with the right equipment too.
"The Roc-It circuit will be a selling point for Results because it will bring something unique and innovative to our members’ workout. It looks great, is non-intimidating and feels great too."
The eight-station Roc-It circuit adjusts to the movement of each user to ensure continuous alignment of the user position with the exercise arm, simulating a free weights workout.
Each station features a water bottle holder, towel hook and accessory tray and allows for customised upholstery and logos. Also, the weight stacks can be installed on either side of the user.
The circuit will be sitting alongside a range of CV kit from Life Fitness to create a 40-station gym.
