Pulse kit for Bristol community centre
The Greenway Centre in Southmead, Bristol has invested in £70,000 worth of the latest Pulse Fitness equipment as part of a multi-million pound refurbishment to improve sport and leisure services for the local community.
The contract has seen Pulse install over 30 pieces of cardio and strength equipment - which include the self powered Freedom range and inclusive Evolve strength range - plus a selection of free weight equipment, 11 group cycles and the Fibo Innovation award winning AbCoaster.
Much of the Pulse equipment installed is accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI), which was a key requirement of the Southmead Development Trust.
The site is currently working with the IFI as it hopes to be awarded the IFI mark provisional level of accreditation.
Funding for the refurbishment project included a substantial grant from the Sport England arm of The Big Lottery Fund.
