Product innovation
Pulse Fitness has developed a fitness gaming bike with facial recognition software
Leisure solutions supplier Pulse Fitness is adding two new products to its portfolio. The lineup includes the brand new Versus, and the Trixter VR, a fitness gaming bike that uses facial recognition.
Versus
The new Versus uses virtual trainer software and advanced motion tracking technology to track and score exercise against personal best scores or a fellow gym goer, thanks to the new multi-player functionality.
Both form and motion are tracked and continual feedback is displayed to ensure a safe and optimal workout. The interactive technology also allows users to challenge friends across social channels.
Operators are also able to select the type of in-built rack and weight system they prefer, using existing gym weights or brand new ones, with each rack accommodating up to 10 dumbbells and 5 kettlebells.
Working in partnership with Australian-based Versus Fitness, Pulse have the exclusive distribution rights for Versus to the UK markets.
Trixter VR Trixter Virtual Reality is a fitness gaming bike that uses facial recognition to log user workouts and gives a 360° virtual cycling experience in medieval forests, mountain lakes and tropical islands.
The new model features real-feel gears, handlebars, pedals and seat sensors and a 23-inch screen displaying an unparalleled picture and gaming quality.
The software allows users to choose from five different bikes and over 300 different race variations with real time results and feedback to motivate and ensure improved performance during the ride.
Pulse is able to retro fit existing Trixter bikes so they become newly fitted with VR capability, with all service issues and software downloads managed remotely via the cloud.
