Daisy Roots, the Northamptonshire shoe company, has launched what it believes is a world first with the introduction of a shoe range designed specifically for use during Pilates and Yoga classes.

Designed with the help of Pilates and Yoga instructors, the shoes have a soft sole which allows the wearer to retain the feeling of connection with the floor during standing exercises, mat work or when using equipment such as core balls and spine rolls.

They are made from soft chrome free leather and have a durable non slip sole with a padded inner sole for added comfort.

The leather upper features a simple embroidered design with added elastication to ensure that the shoes stay on throughout the length of a workout.

Available in three colours - Pink, Blue and Black - the shoes are extremely lightweight and are said to add no extra resistance.
