Ben 10 rolls into Drayton Manor Park

Cartoon hero Ben 10 has made Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire, his new home.
Europe’s first ever Ben 10 roller coaster ride opened at Drayton Manor for Easter 2011, following an exclusive deal between the park and Turner CN Enterprises, the brand's licensor. Children's programme Ben 10 is broadcast on the Cartoon Network and follows the adventures of 10-year-old Ben Tennyson, who is able to turn into a variety of alien superheroes, each with unique powers, thanks to his mysterious Omnitrix watch.
The new coaster - a Vekoma Junior Boomerang with Ben 10 branding - is part of a Cartoon Network Street, which includes a fully branded restaurant and shop, selling Ben 10 merchandise and products relating to other shows on Cartoon Network. Ben 10: Ultimate Mission launches passengers forward on their first tour of the 180m track, hitting speeds of 55kph and a g-force of 3, before returning backwards along the same route.
