Zoom Media launches ‘livegood' wellness channel to deliver in-club entertainment on consoles and screens

A proprietary wellness content channel, called livegood, gives health club operators an alternative to TV on consoles / Zoom Media
This move aims to transform the gym experience by offering an engaging GymTV channel designed to inform, entertain and motivate gym goers in the most compelling way.

Created from the ground up, Zoom has used its many years’ experience to understand what members and gym operators want.

The aim is to provide operators with an alternative to traditional music TV channels, which can be costly and problematic with licensing and deliver a captivating solution that serves as more than just adverts and wallpaper.

Livegood focuses on three main pillars of content — food, fitness, and mental wellbeing — delivering curated advice and insights from in-house experts and trainers directly to gym screens, meaning for the first time, there is genuinely insightful and informative content and exclusive offers brought directly to gym goers.

This content is complemented by adrenalin-fuelled footage, as well as the latest news, sports, and weather bulletins tailored to each region.

Launching initially in the UK and Germany, with plans to expand into other European countries throughout the year, the Livegood gym channel offers 10 hours of regularly updated seasonal and unique content. Managed remotely via cutting-edge technology, the channel ensures minimal repetition of content, delivering a fresh experience with every workout.

For consumers, this ultimately means a more interesting gym experience that goes beyond just a workout. Gym operators, on the other hand, benefit from screens that become integral to the workout experience. The flexibility of the technology allows operators to customise the content mix.

Livegood's in-house content creators can also produce bespoke media tailored specifically for gym operators.

Livegood is offered as part of Zoom Media's GymTV package, enabling operators to also generate revenue through paid advertising while broadcasting their own marketing messages to cross-sell within the gym environment, advertising things such as events, personal training sessions and classes.

What distinguishes this platform is its unique offering, as the only content provider to offer such a fully curated and comprehensive channel to gyms across Europe, granting operators the flexibility to create their own customised channels, in their own languages.
