Énergie ups roll out target for Fit4Less
Health club operator énergie has opened its 13th Fit4Less-branded budget gym and revealed that it has increased the pace of its roll out plans.
The 14th club will open shortly in Stockport and énergie has set a target of 45 openings in the next two years.
The brand was launched in July 2009 and according to énergie, an average Fit4Less club achieves around 700 members in pre-sales prior to each launch.
Brand director David Beattie said the no contract model used by the chain worked for attracting the clubs' target market.
"Fitness enthusiasts historically deterred by long term commitment and escalating fees now have a clearly defined alternative to the traditional established health club groups," he said.
"Online social media has also played a large part in building awareness that has enabled us to communicate even more closely with members and prospective members."
