South Lanarkshire achieves Scotland’s highest Quest score
South Lanarkshire Leisure has announced that its Carluke Leisure Centre has recently achieved the highest score ever achieved in Scotland for Quest, the quality scheme for the UK’s sports and leisure sector.
The centre attained a score of 79 per cent, which included achieving eight marks out of 10 in areas such as customer care, cleanliness and health and safety management.
Gill Clark, centre manager, said: “It’s been hard work, but the help and support from all the team on a daily basis ensures that the people who use the centre receive an excellent and constantly improving service.”
The trust’s Hamilton Water Palace in Hamilton also recently achieved a high Quest score of 78 per cent.
South Lanarkshire Leisure operates 15 leisure centres; nine swimming pools; seven golf courses; nine health and fitness suites, branded The Club; an ice rink and offers various coaching activities. Details: www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk
