Restaurants may serve 'mood food'
PCs which heat workers' meals at their desks and supermarkets that grow produce on-site could be a flavour of things to come, according to a report by creative design consultants Pearlfisher. The report says restaurants and bars may even start to produce 'mood food' - menus for happy or sad diners. Managing partner, Mike Branson, says the ideas in A Taste of Things to Come are not as far-fetched as they may seem: Some of our ideas may seem provocative, but they are based on a sound understanding of what social trends will influence our eating and drinking habits, coupled with extensive research and experience in the field.
