Personal training raises its game in Shropshire
Welti Health and Fitness club in Shropshire has expanded its personal training offering.
Housed in an unused part of the club’s restaurant, the new area, supplied by Escape Fitness, includes a combat zone with a boxing platform, kettlebells, punch bags and powerbags.
A stabilisation area equipped with a sprint track, plyometric platforms, pilates balls, medicine balls and a medball reactor has also been included, along with a free-weight zone and a stretch area.
The new focal point for the club aims to provide an alternative to traditional gym layouts, allowing members to progress their training whether they are recreational users or are involved in sports-specific activity.
Welti Health and Fitness, whose membership is made up one third of children, is also launching a new children’s area complete with a virtual trainer, Vew-do balance boards and a target wall.
In addition, the club has improved its cardio area with a new 30-minute express circuit, and is introducing a range of programmes for all members, including Buff Brides, Fight Club and Weekend Warrior Workout. Seasonal packages such as beach-body and skiing programmes will also be available.
As part of its complex Welti Health and Fitness boasts a 20m swimming pool, sauna, steamroom, six indoor tennis courts, four championship clay courts, three floodlit artificial grass courts and a floodlit all-weather court.
