New property development near Disneyland Paris
Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) and Euro Disney SCA have revealed plans to develop a timeshare resort near Paris, France.
Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France at the Disneyland Resort Paris is the first project MVCI, the holiday ownership division of Marriott International, has undertaken in France. It will be located within a mile of the Disneyland Paris theme parks, around 20 miles east of Paris.
Proposals include 275 two-bedroom/two-bathroom villas, which will provide 1,250sq ft of living space. Each villa will feature a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, a living room with a fireplace, and a patio.
The site will include two outdoor swimming pools, two children's pools and three spas as well as a health club, restaurant, shop and outdoor playground. Guest will also have access to the Disneyland Paris 27-hole golf course.
This new agreement will facilitate week long stays at Disneyland Paris and drive towards and increased synergy between the riches the region has to offer tourists, and those of Disneyland Paris, said Jay Rasulo, chairman of Euro Disney SCA.
Sales of the properties are targeted to begin in April 2001, with prices ranging from $12,100 to $23,100 per week of ownership.
The village is scheduled to open in June 2003.
