Fusion climbers break records
Fusion sports performance trainers Nathan Carter and Kelvin Turner recently led a team of 12 fitness enthusiasts to break the world record for climbing on the Versaclimber continually for 24 hours.
The team achieved a height of 210,886ft (64,278m); more than seven times the height of Mount Everest.
The record-breaking challenge took place in Bude town centre and raised over £1,500 for Cornwall Air Ambulance and FLEET (Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust).
Turner also attempted, and beat, two further records: for climbing on the Versaclimber for 30 and 60 minutes while wearing a 40lb backpack.
