FitPro announces revamped format for 2016 series of educational events
FitPro has unveiled a revised programme of educational events for fitness professionals in 2016, taking workshops around the country in response to calls for more regional access.
Following a comprehensive educational survey in which thousands of fitness professionals took part, FitPro will go on the road to meet members’ demands for more high-quality face-to-face education at a venue near to them.
As a result, the annual fitness industry trainers’ convention FitPro Live will be held in both London and the Midlands on two separate dates. The London event takes place on 8-9 April at the Novotel London West, while dates and venue for the subsequent Midlands convention will be released shortly.
Key topics at the events – which comprise seminars, workshops and lectures – will include a greater focus on business development, with industry-specific advice and evidence-based sessions on nutrition, health and wellbeing, biomechanics, mobility, functional training and third age from a range of UK and international speakers.
Meanwhile, the FitPro Live Workshop Series of interactive single-theme events will tour the country, starting in February with Adapting Modern Functional Fitness Tools for the Pregnant and Postnatal Client by Jenny Burrell, the UK’s leading pre- and postnatal expert. Subsequent workshop themes include stress and nutrition, guiding your clients’ behaviour change, Mind & Body and a MOSSA group fitness session.
