Female-only fitness franchise launched by Énergie
Énergie Fitness clubs has launched a new ladies-only franchise in the UK – Énergie Fitness for Women.
Peter Croney, former owner and manager of Club Ventura in Redditch, is heading up the concept, which the company said “will suit ambitious individuals with approximately £19,000 of personal funds to invest”.
Croney had been running a womens- only club at Club Ventura for the past four years, which has provided the model for the énergie franchise.
Jan Spaticchia, chief executive of énergie fitness, said: “Now that our infrastructure and support systems are well established, the time is right to introduce a second énergie franchise concept to the market.”
Croney said: “The next 12 months will be very exciting. While the initial focus is to establish a number of Énergie Fitness for Women clubs in the UK, there are also plans to explore the overseas market.”
Franchisees will be able to introduce additional facilities to the traditional ladies’ circuit such as dedicated cardiovascular areas, studios, therapy rooms, and personal training services.
Spaticchia said: “A franchise can be opened with minimum investment and as the club begins to generate its own revenue, more funding can be committed to developing additional services and facilities.
